“A secret pact will tear them apart” warns the first trailer for Sundance Channel’s second original series, “The Red Road.” Our first look at the series shows protests, rituals, confrontations, and a fair amount of violence.
The series follows Sheriff Harold Jensen (Martin Henderson), a man trying to keep his family together while simultaneously policing two communities: a small town just outside of New York City and a neighboring Native American tribe. A cover up involving his alcoholic wife (Julianne Nicholson) forces him to align himself with a dangerous member of the tribe (Jason Momoa), and the lives of both men quickly begin to unravel. The series also stars Allie Gonino, best known for her work on ABC Family’s “The Lying Game,” and Kiowa Gordon, known to most audiences as Embry Call in “The Twilight Saga.”
“The Red Road” premieres Thursday, February 27th at 9PM. Check out the first trailer below!
